| OHFA's First-Time Homebuyer Program provides borrowers with the flexibility of choosing a mortgage product that best meets their needs by offering competitive, fixed interest rates on 30-year conventional loans and FHA, VA, and USDA Rural Development government mortgages. To help with down payment and closing costs, eligible homebuyers can choose a down payment assistance grant in an amount equal to two percent of the home's purchase price or a second mortgage in an amount up to four percent of the home’s purchase price. |

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati has established a set-aside of Affordable Housing Program (AHP) funds to help create homeownership. These funds are available to members as grants to assist homebuyers under the Welcome Home program.
